Program Description

This program is designed specifically for children ages 4 years old and older.  Your child will learn and grow in classes  that will  accommodate their physical and mental capabilities. Motor skills, listening skills, and social skills are all important tools in preparing your child for the future and we at Xcel TKD try to help them meet these needs in a fun, energetic, but disciplined environment. These children are at an age where the more special they feel, the harder they will try. There for we support and encourage our young students as they try to reach their goals.

Our Children's Classes

Parents want their children to be strong and healthy and to do well in life. Xcel Tae Kwon Do program aids in building children’s confidence and character, qualities that help develop leadership.

They learn physical fitness and mental alertness, which give them pride in themselves. This extends to their participation and contribution in the classroom. This new source of energy and physical agility will help them perform better at sports and other activities. They will make friends easier and will learn to respect authority, and themselves.

Our students vary from 4 year old preschoolers to NJ Junior Olympic Champions. Therefore, unlike most martial arts schools, where you will find younger and older kids of all belts grouped together in one big class,  our age specific classes are divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced programs.
